Servicing
The engineer checks the boiler, its controls and its safety devices, and looks for the wear that damp plant rooms can cause. A pool boiler often runs for long periods to hold the water at temperature, so its burner, controls and pumps see more use than those of a heating boiler. The combustion is checked and the readings are recorded on CP15, the CORGIdirect servicing record for non-domestic appliances.
Why pool plant needs attention
Pool plant rooms are warm and humid, and the air can carry chemicals from the water treatment, so corrosion and scale build up faster than in a dry boiler room. The heat exchanger, flue, controls and connections are checked for them on every service.
Pool heater repair
If the boiler or pool heater develops a fault, the engineer finds it and puts it right, or explains what is needed and quotes for it. We work on all common makes of pool heater.
Planning the work
Servicing can be arranged around opening hours and closures. A pool boiler can also be part of a planned maintenance contract with the rest of the site’s gas plant. If you know the make and model of the boiler or heater, add it to the quote form.
