What a contract covers
Commercial gas plant needs servicing at least once a year. A planned preventative maintenance (PPM) contract brings that work together, so the plant in a building is serviced on one schedule rather than job by job. A contract can take in:
- Plant room maintenance: commercial boilers and the plant room around them: pumps, valves, controls, pressurisation units and expansion vessels
- Block heating system maintenance: block and communal heating, from the central boilers to the shared pipework and controls
- Riello gas burners: Riello gas burners on boilers and other plant
- Commercial pump replacement: commercial circulating and booster pumps, checked on each visit and replaced when they wear out
- Swimming pool boiler maintenance: swimming pool boilers and pool heaters, with their controls
- Commercial gas certification: the annual gas safety inspection of the appliances, flues and pipework on the premises
How a contract works
We agree a schedule of visits with you, set around how the building is used, and service each appliance to the manufacturer's instructions and the standards that apply to the work, such as BS 6644 for larger gas-fired boiler plant.
After each visit you get a record of the work and of the condition of the plant, with the CORGIdirect record the work calls for: CP15 for commissioning and servicing non-domestic appliances and CP16 for testing and purging. A dated record of every visit also helps you show that the plant is looked after.
If the plant breaks down between visits, call the office on 0208 853 8383, open 9:00am - 6:00pm.
Asking for a contract
Tell us about the building on the commercial quote form: the boilers, burners, pumps or pool heaters on site, and how the building is used. We use those details to set out the visits and the scope of the work in a quote.
