What the service covers
Commercial boiler service
A service keeps a system efficient and helps to spot problems before they turn into breakdowns. The engineer checks the boiler, burner, controls and safety devices, carries out a combustion analysis and tells you what they find. Each service is recorded on CP15, the CORGIdirect commissioning and servicing record for non-domestic appliances, so the readings can be compared from one year to the next.
Commercial boiler repair
When a system fails, the engineer finds the fault and puts it right, or explains what is needed and quotes for it. The cause can be anything from a failed pump or sensor to a burner fault or a loss of system pressure, so it is found before any part is replaced. For a breakdown, call the number on this page.
Standards we work to
Servicing and repairs follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Where a repair changes the installation, for example a replacement boiler in a plant room, the work follows BS 6644, the installation standard for gas-fired hot water boilers from 70 kW to 1.8 MW (net).
Regular servicing
Commercial boilers need servicing at least once a year. If you look after several boilers or buildings, a planned maintenance contract puts the servicing on an agreed schedule, with a record of each visit.
Who it is for
Businesses, schools, landlords and managing agents with commercial boilers and heating systems that need servicing, or that have stopped working properly.
