Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including to call us. This statement says what we aim for, what we have checked so far and what we have not.
Our target
We build and check this website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we have checked so far
- Automated checks of the structure of our pages: headings, landmarks, the names of links and buttons, form labels and error messages, and lists.
- Colour contrast. Text and button colours were measured against the WCAG contrast requirements when the design was made.
- An automated accessibility scan of each type of page, including the mobile menu and a form showing its error messages. Automated scans find only some problems.
- Reaching the skip link, the call links and the forms with a keyboard alone, in Chrome.
- Sending the forms in Safari, Firefox and Chrome on a phone, with a mouse or touch.
We repeat these checks whenever we change the site.
What we have not checked yet
- Testing by hand with a keyboard alone and with a screen reader on the call, quote and application journeys.
- Using the forms with a keyboard alone in Safari and Firefox.
- The bot check on our forms is provided by Cloudflare (Turnstile). We have not tested it with assistive technology. If it stops you sending a form, call or email us instead.
Because of this, we do not yet claim that the site meets WCAG 2.2 level AA. We will update this statement with the results of the checks above.
