What the service covers
The check
The engineer inspects each gas appliance, its flue and the visible pipework, checks the ventilation, and tests that the safety devices work as they should. Larger premises can be checked in stages so the business keeps running.
The certificate
When the checks are complete we issue the commercial gas safety certificate for the premises, listing each appliance and what was found. If an appliance needs repair first, we can quote for the work so the certificate can follow.
Keeping it up to date
The inspection is usually repeated every year. A planned maintenance contract can include it, so the inspection falls on the same schedule as the servicing of the rest of the gas plant.
Who it is for
Business owners, commercial landlords, facilities managers and managing agents who need the gas appliances and pipework in offices, shops, schools and other commercial premises checked and certified.
